Motif module map reveals enforcement of aging by continual NF-[kappa]B activity
Article Abstract:
A systematic approach to identify combinatorial cis-regulatory motifs is developed to understand the underlying mechanisms and functional consequences of aging. The results showed that the motif associated with aging was that of the transcription factor NF-[kappa]-B, which is continually required to enforce various features of aging in tissue-specific manner.

p63 regulates proliferation and differentiation of developmentally mature keratinocytes
Article Abstract:
The p63 function is investigated in a post-developmental context by using siRNAs that are directed against p63 to down-regulate p63 expression in regulating human epidermis. The results have indicated that p63 is required for both the proliferative and differentiation potential of developmentally mature keratinocytes.

NF-Kb RelA opposes epidermal proliferation driven by TNFR1 and JNK
Article Abstract:
The role of RelA in epidermal homeostasis is studied. The results show that RelA antagonizes TNFR1-JNK proliferative signals in epidermis and plays a nonredundant role in restraining epidermal growth.
